You'll need access to your PPC addresses to sign a claim for Patchcoin.

Barring that, you'll need to work out a trade, either on our Trading board or Discord, until we have an exchange listing.

I currently have my PPC trapped on a ledger with no easy way to move them at the moment. Which also means I can't sign with that address either.

Is there any other way to make a claim for patchcoin?

Government sentiment is turning against proof-of-work mining and the energy destruction it causes. Even within crypto, most have no idea how much more energy efficient proof-of-stake consensus is.

Patchcoin has the same economics as Bitcoin with far less than 1% of the energy usage.

Update 3 March:

We will reach 3 million PTC distributed later today, appropriate for 3/3/2025.

Total claims are now above 8 million and we are slowly approaching the halfway mark (10.5 million).

Today is day 10 of the claims period that will last 180 days. Our team is pleased with the response so far and are happy that the claims system is working as intended.

We expect incoming claims will now begin to slow down after this initial period, but as @Sentinelrv pointed out early on, there are PPC holders who will be unaware of this announcement for another month, two, or three. This is the reason for the long claims period, to give everyone a fair chance to participate.

The first bulk PTC trade has taken place through the Discord 'Price Talk" thread. The trade was 236 PPC for 10,000 PTC. Priced at PTC= 0.0236 PPC. At the time of the trade the PPC price was $0.434 USD. This puts PTC price for this trade at $0.01 USDC. The coins have been sent by both parties (Selfwithin and Jack17) via P2P.
